Licorice nicotine pouches on the Whitelip strength scale
The Whitelip strength scale runs from 1 to 5 and is based on mg of nicotine per pouch. Licorice nicotine pouches at Whitelip sit at level 1 (3 to 4 mg), level 2 (5.9 to 10 mg), level 3 (10.4 to 15 mg) and level 4 (19.5 to 25 mg). Words such as Regular, Strong or Extra Strong in product names are the manufacturer's own labels and do not match other brands' labels, so compare mg per pouch.
Formats
Licorice nicotine pouches at Whitelip come as Slim with 3.5 to 25 mg, Mini with 3 to 3.2 mg and Large with 8 mg of nicotine per pouch. The format describes the size of the pouch, not its strength.
What is salmiak?
Salmiak, or salty liquorice, is liquorice flavoured with salmiak salt, also called ammonium chloride. Liquorice itself is a flavouring extracted from the root of the liquorice plant, Glycyrrhiza glabra. At Whitelip, Zixs uses salmiak in its product names, and the other brands here use liquorice.
